Ewan McGregor I've been a fan of Mr. McGregor since I saw him in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace back in May of 1999. Seems like so long ago. I had see the episode of ER, titled The Long Way Around, he did back when it was first aired in 1996. I just didn't know who he was at the time. He is a fabulous actor and person.
He doesn't let the press take pictures of his two daughters. His wife doesn't mind pictures of her being taken, but they don't want their children exposed to the limelight. And I don't blame him.
He's done a lot of different types of movies. I'm looking forward to The Island when it comes out soon. I love his prtrayal of Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Prequel Trilogy of Star Wars.
Plus, it helps that he's really HAWT!

When he plays a role he plays it so genuinely. I have never seen a more believable actor.
I absolutely fell in love with his character in 'Big Fish'. That movie really lacks story-wise and has a load of intentional plot holes, but with Burton's directing and Ewan's acting, I had intended to draw through the whole movie and instead ended up with my pencil poised in my hand and my mouth wide open for the entire movie (crying where approproate, of course).
I saw him in what looked more like an independent film last night (no clue of the title), where he played a man who accidentally killed a girl, and then went to the trial of the suspect for the girl's murder. That had such a hanging ending. He never confessed at all. Good amount of nudity, however. Haha.

I saw one movie, I think the title was Pillow Book, that movie was nothing but sex. I was like, "What the... This is a porno." Not that I minded seeing him naked. It was just unexpected at the moment.
I love his portrayal of Obi-Wan Kenobi, especially in Revenge of the Sith. It was fantastic. Ewan really made that character grew. Obi-Wan has always been my favorite Star Wars chatacter.
I still remember going to Best Buy the day after I won 100 dollars and buying three Ewan movies. I went with a friend of mine, who's also a Ewan fan. I saw a really short thing that he did called Desserts. Now, that is hilarious. He's walking on a beach and there's this small dessert thing (I can't remember exactly what it was). He picks it up, looks at it for a second, and takes a bite. The thing is... There's a hook in it and he ends up being pulled into the ocean. I nearly died of laughter.
